Amp Plasma

I got a power accoustik plasma sphere(TS1920-2) & the protection stays on with nothing hooked up how do I fix?

The protection light came on as soon as i hooked it up. Now the red light will not turn off. I got everything unhooked and the amp out of the vehicle then rehooked it up and it still hasnt came off. How do I fix this or get it turned off and working properly. Its going into a 94 Cadillac Concour with 2 Alpine 12s.

I would check the ground… probably need to find a better one.
