Tv Converters for Vintage TV sets?

Will a TV converter for getting digital signals on analog tvs will be able to connect on the vintage non cable ready tvs like the rotary tuners,classic black and white including antique tv sets?

If the TV has 2 screw terminals for antenna, you may need a 75 ohm coax to 300 ohm 2 wire adapter (transformer). I don’t have one of the recent digital to analog converters, but I imagine they output the converted signal on channel 3 or 4, so it should even work for an old TV without all the UHF channels.
