I touched the tip of my contact solution bottle?

What should i do? I know that it isn’t good because it might infect it. Please Help! 10 pts for best answer

You do *not* want to run it under water to clean it — I promise you, your tap water has loads more bacteria and infectious stuff in it than your hands. If I did this accidentally in my office, I’d rub outside of the tip with an alcohol swab (substitute a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol or isopropanol on a tissue), then flush out a bit of solution (just squeeze the bottle over the sink for a few seconds) to clear any contaminate. That ought to do it just fine.
