Flag burning? who really cares?

Why are so many people up in arms about flag burning?

I have never gotten this one. Before bush, we would turn on CNN and see some goof in another country burning our flag.. BIG WHOOP..

NOW we turn on CNN and see people cutting the heads off americans..

WHO CARES ABOUT FLAGS?

All the problems we have in the country and the world and people are still moaning about flags? I say if it will chill those guys out in the middle east, we send them 10 flags each every month.

I would much rather have them burn a flag then do something that actually mattered.

As for people in this country, if they wanna go to walmart, buy a flag and torch it, GO FOR IT, its your cash, do as you like.

i agree chopping off someones head is much worse than flag burning.

But flag burning leads to chopping of someones head (not exactly but you can compare it like that). Basically its a sign of hatred! A flag is something that represents a country and for someone to burn a flag is like someone spitting on your mother.

I’m from australia, i couldn’t care less if people in the middle east were burning the flag- they hate us! they have a reason 2. But i’ve people in Australia burning the flag – that really makes me angry!

I love australia! it’s just a pity about all the rednecks that live here!!
