Elite Inferno

What kind of bowling ball to get?

I am currently a 170 average bowler and use a Hammer Hawg.
I’ve used this ball for about two years and had gotten use to it. I’m just simply looking at upgrading and looking for a ball with a little bit more reaction in heavier oil lane conditions. I’ve been looking at the Brunswick Ultimate Inferno, the Elite Blue Alien, the Elite Alien, and the Elite Black Label. Also, should I get 15 or 16 pounds? I’m used to 14.

Any recommendations, advice, or anything would be greatly appreciated

On a house condition, I basically use my Brunswick Red Zone, Morich Elite PBA Black Label, Awesome Finish, Hammer Black Widow Pearl or sometimes my Brunswick Ultimate Inferno when the conditioner is fresh.

On heavy conditioner tournaments or my PBA Experience league, I use my Elite PBA Chameleon, Elite PBA Platinum, Elite PBA Scorpion, Brunswick Ultimate Inferno or Hammer Black Widow Venom.

Due to tendonitis from bowling with 16 lb. equipment for over 20 years, I moved down to 14 lb. equipment and do not lose any hitting power or pin action. Anyone with the basics of bowling can make any ball hook on any lane condition. I’ve even had to use my plastic spare ball on bone dry lanes during league night occasionally and can make it hook like my most aggresssive bowling ball in my arsenal.
