Ok so i have a serious question!!!!?

I’m vegetarian, and most of my life ive wanted to be a welder coz it is sooo fun, and the pay is really good…

but i have 1 HUGE problem w/ welding… safety…

i have to wear leather boots and gloves evry time i weld… and i feel guilty and ashamed evrytime…i really dont want to find another career, coz i love welding!

but do you have to wear leather, or is pleather just as safe?

and do they sell it in markets?

i live in Tulsa, OK… if anyone knows where i can get some, i will love u forever!!!!!!!!!

If your a vegetarian you can use leather products as long as you don’t eat them. I’d check with OSHA requirments before using fake leather. I’m a vegetarian who chooses to use leather shoes, because the profession I’m going into requires me to spend most of the day on my feet, so plastic just doesn’t cut it.
