Plasma Cutter Question?

I am using Plasma Cam software and a Plasma cam table, and when I went to try to cut out a piece of metal I get a lot of warp metal and it causes it to snag on the tip of the torch. If I increase the speed would that lower the chance of it warping the metal? Or if I use clamps to hold down the piece of metal, would that help stop the warp?

Please Help!

Its all to do with the rate at which you are cutting, if the metal is warping, then the rate of feed of the cutter is to slow, i.e. heat is being concentrated too long in one or more places. Try to speed up the rate of feed of the torch, you will know if it is too fast, there wont be a clean cut. It’s trial and error, and a case of practice making perferct.
