NB Overlap Resistance Welder produces a high-strength weld quickly, and can be used on most materials of any width up to about 2,500mm (100 inches), ranging in thickness from 0.075mm (0.003 inch) up to about 6.5mm (0.250 inch).

 

The NB Series Rollspot/Seam Welder is perfect for manufacturing that requires the flexibility of spot or seam welding using the resistance process. Processing lines such as paint, leveling, plating, galvanizing, cleaning, polishing, grinding or annealing could make good use of this machine.

 

The Rollspot/Seam Welder uses a current wheel and a weld wheel to make a weld nugget for joining ends. A steady movement of the weld wheels makes a seam for light-gauge material such as aluminum. The wheels make brief stops on the strip to create spot welds when working with thicker material such as iron. Welds made using electrical resistance like this are usually free of rust, scale or other processing debris.

 

When it comes to continuous coil equipment, Guild’s SF Speed Funnel quickly and accurately assists in feeding the new coil into a flattener or shearwelder. The latest design for this continuous coil equipment has eliminated the need for cumbersome peeler blades or strip center supports, which slow down production.

 

Guild’s SF Speed Funnel for continuous coil equipment boasts four exclusive features:

 

* Two chutes, one upper and one lower, improve delivery.

 

* Hydraulics extend and retract rach chute extends and retracts hydraulically.

 

* Each chute also pivots using hydraulics.

 

* Each chute includes a hardened steel hold down roll for stability.

 

With these features, the SF Speed Funnel has eliminated the need for those peeler blades or strip center supports. This design significantly raises a mill’s uptime by providing quick, easy threading of new coil end.
