Do you think ill be able to drift my cressida with 6mge swap?

its a 1985 toyota cressida rolling chassi. i have the 6mge engine and a 5 speed transmission. i have the engine and the trans ready to swap in. i just wanna know if im going to waist my time. im getting my 3″ exhaust welded by my dads welding shop. hes a master at welding. im planning on gutting some of the interior to take some weight of the car. the car is lowered on k-sport springs and tokico shocks. once i finish everything will it be trackable?? or should i do some stuff to the engine. no turbo though.

Replace the rear struts and bushings…..

let me let you in a little secret to getting the tires to break traction if your horsepower’s limited….

Find a windshield washer bottle that has the pump inside…. Install it in the trunk…. Pipe the hoses so it sprays water right in front of the rear wheels……. When your ready to get those tires spinning just squirt a little water on the tires and traction breaks easy starting the wheels to spin……..

The other benefit to doing this is you don’t break as many parts — Getting those wheels to spin is hard on the drive-line — Things like transmissions, universal joints and gear’s break easier at the moment you hammer on it to get the rear end to break traction….. The water causes less of a shock and gets those wheels spinning easier……

Just wire the switch up near the drivers seat….
