How can i get the most amperage out of my 110volt welding machine???

I have a miller maxstar 150 stick/tig welder that operates on 110/220 volts but i currently dont have access to 220. So is there any other way that I can get better results from the machine without tripping the breaker?

It appears that this model is capable of handling 20A at 115V. So, to get the maximum performance, make sure you are connected to a circuit on a 20A breaker. Of course, if it’s a 15A breaker, you can’t just swap it out. You need appropriately-sized wiring to handle that load. At 20A, you need a minimum of #12 wire. Certain other factors, such as length of run and derating of ampacity based on conduit fill, could require even larger wire. If you’re unsure of the requirements for your specific situation, consult an electrician.
