When riding a motorcycle without a helmet, how do you keep bugs and stuff out of your face?

Illinois has no helmet law, and Missouri is trying to repeal their helmet law.
PLEASE DON’T SAY IT IS STUPID TO RIDE WITHOUT A HELMET.
It is a choice.

I avoid bugs by taking my seven year old with me on the bike. She talks so much that the bugs get sucked into her mouth and there are none left for me.

Seriously, there is no sure fired way to avoid all the bugs even with a helmet. However there are windshields that help alittle. Best bet is to wear a conch or a bandana around your face and have a good pair of impact resistan glasses. This greatly reduces the bug problem, but nothing totally eliminates it, not even a helmet. I was stung by three wasps in less than one hour wearing a helmet, have been stung about 4 other times with out a helmet in 30 years of riding. With out a helmet you can just wipe them off before they sting you.
