I’m off hiking alone around Norway and Russia in about two weeks from now, can anybody suggest to me things I might require? Thus far I have:

Sleeping Bag
Roll Mat
Noodles
Travel guides
Aluminium bottles
A Platypus (No, not the animal! For travel virgins this is a sack of water with a tube attached. You strap it to the back of your bag and drink through the tube. It’s well cool)
Two Torches (One big, one small)
Eating Utensils
Knives
Boots
Clothes
Compass

That’s all, I think. If anyone can make any further suggestions that’d be very much appreciated. Incidentally, I intend to acquire maps en route.
